Tour Program: Day 1
We depart in the morning around 9:00 AM in high spirits. Along the way, we'll stop at one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island of Bali, reached through a canyon. We'll take stunning photos along the road and at the waterfall itself, and swim there.
We'll drive through bamboo jungles and tangerine plantations.
We'll have lunch at a cafe on the caldera of the volcano with a stunning view of it and Mount Abang. Here we'll rest after the drive, learn about the history of Batur's eruptions, daydream, and draw inspiration from the might of the active volcano before our ascent.
We'll visit the water temple Pura Segara Ulun Danu Batur, located on the sacred Lake Batur. Feeling a bit tired, we'll head to the hotel, where we'll relax in the hot springs. We'll grab a warm drink, turn on some music, and enjoy the starry sky from the hot pool.
Day 2
At 3:30 AM we'll set out with the best guides to the summit of Batur, where we'll charge up with the positive energy of the rising sun and meet the dawn at an altitude of 1,717 meters above sea level. We'll walk around the volcano crater and descend into one of the most sacred places in the heart of Bali -- a Buddhist temple where little monkeys have found their home! Don't forget to bring them some treats!
Batur is an active volcano with many fissures from which hot steam escapes, and we'll warm ourselves in it on this cool morning. We'll also cook eggs in the steam rising from the volcanic vent. We'll have a snack, drink some tea, and then return to the hotel, where a long-awaited breakfast and hot springs will be waiting for us.
At 12:00 PM we'll head to Lake Batur, where you can take photos. Return home. Rest.
