The Second Home Visa is a residence permit that allows you to stay in Indonesia for 5 to 10 years with multiple entry/exit rights.
If you plan to live in Indonesia for at least the next 5 or 10 years, this visa is an excellent solution. You cannot work in Indonesia with this visa, but you can invest. Another advantage is that by obtaining it, you can bring your family to Indonesia for the duration of your visa. In this case, the visa holder acts as a sponsor.
Visa cost for 5 years:
Rp 45.000.000 (~ $2 735)Validity: The visa is issued for 5 years and can be extended for another five years. In total, you can stay in Indonesia for up to 10 years.
Required documents: 4x6 photo on a white background, passport valid for at least 36 months, proof of funds in an Indonesian state bank with a minimum of 2 billion Indonesian rupiah (130,000 USD) or proof of property ownership of 1,000,000 USD with Hak Pakai usage rights, and other data upon request.
Processing time: 7-10 business days.
Upon arrival in Indonesia:
After arriving in Indonesia, within 90 days you must provide proof of funds/assets (in the form of a bank statement from an Indonesian State Bank).
