Family KITAS is issued for one year to those whose spouse or parent holds a work or Investor KITAS, as well as to foreign citizens married to an Indonesian citizen. It allows multiple entries and exits to/from Indonesia.

Family KITAS cost:

E31B, E31E for 1 year: Rp 13.000.000 (~ $790)

E31B, E31E for 2 years: Rp 14.500.000 (~ $881)

Required documents: Photo/scan of passport (must be valid for at least 2 years), marriage certificate in English/birth certificate in English — the translation must be notarized, company documents, bank statement from PMA company account with a minimum of 2,000 USD (~33,000,000 IDR) showing transactions for the last two months.

Processing time: 1-1.5 months.

Family KITAS extension cost:

E31B, E31E for 1 year: Rp 12.500.000 (~ $760)

E31B, E31E for 2 years: Rp 15.500.000 (~ $942)

Important information!

If you do not wish to extend your KITAS, you must go through the EPO (Exit Permit Only) procedure — KITAS closure. This procedure is required when a foreigner transfers to a new company, changes their KITAS sponsor, wants to change the type of KITAS, leaves their job, or leaves a company.
