Tour Program

Departure from the hotel at approximately 08:00. We head to the east of Bali, to the picturesque Karangasem region.

Snorkeling in the Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is considered one of the best snorkeling spots on Bali thanks to its calm, clear water, rich coral reefs, and variety of tropical fish. Dozens of species of marine life can be seen here and, with a bit of luck, sea turtles. Snorkeling takes place at two locations — the Blue Lagoon and Jepun. The total duration is about 2 hours.

Pura Luhur Lempuyang temple

One of the oldest and most revered temple complexes on Bali, located on Mount Lempuyang in the Karangasem region. The temple is among the island's principal shrines and holds a special place in Balinese culture and religion.

This is the site of the famous “Gates of Heaven” — the traditional split Candi Bentar gates, which in clear weather frame a magnificent view of the Agung volcano. The two halves of the gate symbolise the opposing forces of the world and their balance — an important idea in Balinese philosophy.

Lempuyang attracts visitors not only with its spiritual atmosphere, but also with the chance to take one of the most recognisable photos on Bali — against the backdrop of the Gates of Heaven and majestic Mount Agung.

Tirta Gangga water palace

We will visit the royal water palace of Tirta Gangga — an amazing complex of pools and fountains surrounded by a tropical garden and decorated with stone sculptures. The palace was built in the 20th century for the royal family of Karangasem. Today Tirta Gangga is one of the most picturesque places in eastern Bali, where you can stroll along stone paths among the ponds and the famous koi carp.

Beach with black volcanic sand

One of the most unusual natural locations in eastern Bali — a coastline of deep black volcanic sand. The shore owes its colour to the volcanic origin of the island, and in the sunlight the fine grains of sand shimmer beautifully, creating an almost mirror-like effect.

The character of Bali's east coast is especially palpable here: a dark shore, powerful ocean waves, and mountain scenery in the distance. We will make a short stop to walk along the ocean, enjoy the unusual landscape, and take striking photos with the contrast of black sand and blue water.

Balinese chocolate tasting

To round off the journey, another pleasant stop awaits you — a Balinese chocolate shop. Here you can sample different kinds of chocolate before buying, pick out your favourite flavours, and purchase sweet gifts for yourself and your loved ones.

A special highlight is the fresh strawberries in dark chocolate, which you can buy right on the spot. Juicy berries combined with rich chocolate make a delicious end to an eventful day in the east of Bali.

And if you would like to take a piece of the island home with you, the shop offers a wide selection of chocolate and sweets that make excellent Balinese souvenirs.
