Tour Program
02:00 — departure from the hotel (the departure time depends on the area where you are staying)
Early in the morning an English-speaking driver will pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned car. The start of the journey to one of the most beautiful sunrises on the island of Bali.
02:00 – 04:30 — transfer to the Kintamani area (by car)
The road runs through the central part of the island to the foot of the active Mount Batur volcano.
04:30 – 06:00 — jeep ride up Mount Batur
On arrival you will transfer to a special off-road jeep and set off along volcanic tracks to the viewpoint. The ascent goes up to the highest point a jeep can reach.
06:00 – 07:00 — watching the sunrise
At the top of the volcano an unforgettable sunrise awaits you, with panoramic views of Lake Batur, Mount Abang, and the clouds above the island of Bali.
During the stop a light breakfast is served: boiled eggs, a sandwich, coffee or tea.
This is one of the best places on Bali to greet the sunrise, enjoy the starry sky, recharge, and make a wish.
Exploring the volcano and its surroundings
After sunrise you will continue your journey around the Batur volcano.
During the drive there is a stop at Black Sand — an area of black volcanic sand where you can take beautiful photos.
The next location is Black Lava. Here you will see the frozen lava flows left behind by the powerful eruptions of the Batur volcano and be able to feel the scale of this place's natural force.
09:00 — return to the starting point and drive to a panoramic cafe
After the jeep tour is over you return to the starting point, transfer back to the car, and head to a cafe located in the caldera of the Batur volcano.
Here you can rest a little, have a snack, and drink some aromatic coffee*, while enjoying a stunning panoramic view of the active Batur volcano, the picturesque Lake Batur, and majestic Mount Abang.
*Food and drinks at the cafe are paid separately.
Luwak coffee — the most expensive coffee in the world
After the volcanic adventure you will head to a coffee plantation where you will learn about the production of the famous Luwak coffee — one of the most well-known and unusual coffees in the world. While walking around the plantation you will also see how tropical plants and fruits grow on Bali: mangosteens, cacao, lemongrass, bananas, and other local crops. A free tasting of Balinese coffee and various kinds of aromatic tea awaits you. If you wish, you can also try Luwak coffee — one cup costs approximately 50,000 Rp.
Return to the hotel
After an eventful journey — the return to your hotel and a rest after a bright morning full of impressions and beautiful panoramas of the island of Bali.
